A LAW which would give the Prime Minister’s government power to override areas of the Brexit agreement has passed the first stage.
MPs backed the controversial Internal Market Bill by 340 voters to 263.
Critics say it will damage the UK’s standing by breaching intentional law.
The government claims it contains safeguards to protect the UK if a future trade deal with the European Union breaks down.
