POLICE have charged a second man in connection with the murder of a mother and her young son in a house fire.
Detectives have investigated the tragic incident at Croxden Way in Eastbourne that happened on July 10, 2018.
Gina Ingles, 34, and her four-year-old son Milo Ingles-Bailey were killed, while Gina’s partner Toby Jarrett was seriously injured.
A murder investigation under Operation Druffield was launched.
John Tabakis has been charged in connection with the offence. The 30-year-old from Hastings was arrested on January 15, and was charged with perverting the course of justice. He is due before Brighton Magistrates’ Court today.
Earlier, Andrew Milne, 42, from Hastings, appeared in court accused of two counts of murder and one of attempted murder.
He is next due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on August 28. Sussex Police say anyone with information should report it online or via 101.
