FIRE crews rushed to the scene of a plane crash.
The aircraft came down in Heathfield shortly after 11.00am today.
Police and ambulance crews have joined firefighters from Heathfield, Uckfield, Battle and Wadhurst at the scene in Herring Lane.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews were called following reports of a light aircraft crash.
“They used one in seven foam to extinguish the fire.”
Sussex Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
