A CYCLIST died in a crash with a lorry.

The man, in his 20s, was riding along the A281 Guildford Road in Rudgwick, near Horsham, when he was involved in the fatal collision.

Officers were called to the road at about 10.45am yesterday following reports that there had been a crash between a cyclist and a Renault HGV tipper lorry.

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: “The cyclist, a man in his 20s from Morden in Surrey, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Next of kin have been informed.

“Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dash cam footage to make contact with us.
