A police helicopter assisted with a search for a missing person in Haywards Heath
A BODY was found by a reservoir after a frantic search.
Haywards Heath residents heard a police helicopter hovering overhead on Wednesday night.
Today, the force announce the body of a man had been found near Ardingly Reservoir.
A spokesman said: “We were being assisted by the National Police Air Service helicopter in a search for a missing man.
“Shortly after midnight, the man’s body was sadly discovered close to Ardingly Reservoir.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner’s officer has been informed.”
