A THUG spat at police, grabbed an officer by the wrist and kicked a security guard.
Michael Jones committed the attack in North Street, Brighton, following his release from prison.
The 49-year-old appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court where he admitted assaults on PC Bowen and PC Maskell and kicking security guard Henry Ratcliff.
He twisted the wrist of one officer and also spat at them in the attack on April 9, during the coronavirus lockdown, court documents show.
Jones, of no fixed address, was jailed for 38 weeks.
He was also ordered to pay £50 in compensation to each of the three victims.
