BEING confined to our homes for most of the day can be a blessing in disguise.
We can catch up on all those chores we’ve been meaning to do, or maybe start a DIY project we have talked about for years.
But there’s no denying that some of us have it a lot better than others.
If you are a celebrity, chances are you are isolating in a stunning house and living a life of luxury.
And that is certainly the case for internet stars Zoella, 30, and boyfriend Alfie Deyes, 26.
The YouTube couple are currently spending time in their five-bedroom Sussex pad.
Zoella, whose real name is Zoe Sugg, moved into the seven-bed property three years ago.
She has been sharing a series of revealing snaps of their home in recent days as the couple embrace the lockdown.
The huge property is bright and airy, with sliding French doors, ceiling to floor windows and white walls.
It’s filled with flowers and pot plants in almost every room, as well as a collection of trendy artwork and neon signs.
The couple have an orange Aga oven in their tiled walled kitchen and a huge freestanding copper tub in the bathroom.
They have a spacious outdoor seating area and even had a pop-up tepee in the garden for a housewarming party last year.
Every inch of the home is pristine and Instagram-friendly, with candles and hardcover table books on display.
The house even features a statement mirror wall complete with a classic Roald Dahl quote from The Twits.
The couple previously lived in a £2,300-a-month rented flat on Hove seafront before buying their first “Zalfie pad”, a £1 million five-bed house in Dyke Road, in February 2015.
This time they are keeping their address more private after previously having fans turn up on their doorstep.
Zoella took to Twitter in 2015 to ask fans to stop camping outside her home and ringing the doorbell, and Alfie also repeatedly pointed out that it wasn’t right for parents to drive their children to spy over fences at the stars trying to relax in the garden.
Zoe and Alfie, who are said to have a net worth of £10 million, have been dating since 2012 and celebrated their seventh anniversary in October last year.
