A HEALTH care worker is in desperate need of a hotel room - after a family member fell ill.
Head of housekeeping at Martlets hospice in Hove is playing a vital role ensuring the hospice is kept clean and safe for patients.
But a member of his family has started to show coronavirus symptoms meaning he cannot go home at the end of his shift today and continue his essential work.
The housekeeper is desperately seeking a hotel room to stay in tonight. The hospice said the housekeeper was well and not suffering any symptoms - but needed to separate from family members to protect vulnerable patients at the hospice.
A spokeswoman added: “He is in charge of keeping the hospice clean and safe, an especially vital role at the moment.”
