A SHOPPING street is helping to keep residents and customers informed.

Shopkeepers in George Street, Hove, will be issuing regular updates.

The Love George Street Facebook page will post the latest news from the managers of the branches of Tesco and Boots and local councillors.

The group said: “A lot of our community relies on these major shops, Tesco for supplies and the pharmacy at Boots. Many people may not be able to get out so the call goes out to any businesses and individuals that can offer support and help to those that may need help.

“Let’s hope everyone pull together and jointly think of others.”
