A CAMPAIGN aims to encourage people to switch to a job in adult social care.
Research carried out by the Department of Health and Social Care found that 37 per cent of workers in the south east are not satisfied with their jobs, and more than half said they are looking for a more fulfilling career.
The Government is urging people to make a career change through their ‘When you care, every day makes a difference’ campaign.
Minister for care, Caroline Dinenage said: “A career in adult social care offers the rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in society.
“I am calling on anyone looking for a fresh start to consider a job in social care.
“If you are considering making the switch, I urge you to apply online now and see how diverse and worthwhile jobs in social care can be.”
