THE General Election has proved to be a total car crash for at least one voter.
It is not known if the driver was arriving to put their X in the ballot box or leaving after already casting their vote.
The Mercedes estate crashed into a wall at the village hall in Funtington, West Sussex soon after the polls opened on Thursday morning.

Weather conditions are not thought to have played a part despite rain and wind.
The tiny village hall in the Chichester district serves as a voting place for more than 2700 electors.
