A PASSERBY grew concerned after seeing a man who looked "unwell" on a bridge.
A large number of emergency services attended and found the man had been suffering from the cold.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We responded to this incident at Mill Hill Nature Reserve at 8.55am this morning with four vehicles.
"Contact Police for more details."
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "At 9.30am on Friday a man was seen by a passer-by on a bridge over the A27 at Shoreham, to be apparently unwell and suffering from exposure.
"The Ambulance service are attending and we understand he has been taken home."
