POLICE are appealing to readers of The Argus for help finding wanted suspects around Sussex.
Steven Harris
Police who are searching for 32-year-old Steven Harris, wanted over threats to commit arson, and of causing criminal damage, issued an appeal for him on the BBC1 Crimewatch Roadshow.
Detectives want to interview him over threats to commit arson, and causing criminal damage to the car of a woman known to him, in Flimwell High Street during April last year.
Harris, who is a scaffolder, frequents East Sussex but also has links to Swanley in Kent and Walton on Thames in Surrey.
He is described as white, 5`11" and of medium build with short dark brown hair.
Daryl Beckingham
Police who are searching for a man wanted for recall to prison, also want to interview him about a rape.
25-year-old Daryl Beckingham from Hastings is already wanted for recall to prison He was released on licence from prison on 1 March part of the way through a five-year sentence for causing grievous bodily harm, imposed at Lewes Crown Court on 1 July 2014 but the Probation Service require his return to prison for breaching his release conditions.
However detectives now also want to interview him about the rape of a 21-year-old woman at an address in Rye on 17 March.
Beckingham is described as white,5'8", slim, with short auburn hair and green eyes.
He may also frequent the Coventry area of the West Midlands and police there have also been asked to help search for him.
Anyone who sees Beckingham in Hastings or St Leonards or elsewhere in East Sussex, or in the West Midlands, is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101, or 999, quoting serial 632 of 21/03 or 384 of 17/03.
