A COMMUNITY will unite once again to raise money for victims of a flats fire.

The Pankhurst Community Festival will host music and events at Brighton racecourse on November 10.

Money raised from the event will go to those made homeless in the fire in Pankhurst Avenue, Brighton, on September 20.

As many as 50 people were left without a home when the blaze ripped through the block.

Firefighters battled for hours to bring the flames under control.

In the month that has followed the community has raised more than £11,000 in donations, and the Guinness Partnership, which owns the building, donated £13,000 to match community donations.

The Pankhurst Community Festival will take place from 10am to 5pm. Groups who wish to take part can email thetogetherprojects@gmail.com. To donate visit gofundme.com/f/pankhurst-flats-fire-campaign.
