A GARDENER is facing charges of theft and burglary after a £20,000 caravan was stolen.
Walter Doe appeared before Brighton magistrates on October 24.
The 29-year-old, of Station Road in Hailsham, has been charged in connection with two incidents.
The first happened on October 9 when a Swift caravan was stolen in Hailsham.
The second happened on September 23 when a group entered a building “with intent to steal” in Marle Green, near Heathfield.
The landscape gardener was remanded in custody and will appear at Crown Court on November 21.
