POLICE in Cambodia have enlisted the help of a specialist dog to help find missing Amelia Bambridge.

The 21-year-old backpacker from Worthing disappeared from a beach party in the island of Koh Rong last week.

Authorities said the canine unit would not be able to track her exact steps.

But it would be able to identify areas where her scent could be found.

This comes after the former Bhasvic student's auntie claim she believes she could be held by human traffickers.

Joanna O'Flaherty, who lives in Las Vegas, told News3LV : “I think there is a very high possibility that she is in captivity.

"I believe that she was abducted, and there’s a good possibility that it is for human trafficking.”

Police have quizzed six men over the disappearance of a backpacker.

Her family from Worthing have flown out to help search for her, including her mum Linda, dad Phil, and brother Harry.

The AFP news agency has reported that as many as 200 army, navy and police personnel have scoured the island in the south of the country to find the former BHASVIC student.

The agency reported one senior police source in the search party as saying there is now "little hope" she will be found alive.

A vigil for Amelia, organised by her family, will be held at St Michael’s Catholic Church in Hayling Rise, Worthing, tonight at 8.30pm.
