Aged 32, of Windmill Drive, Brighton, guilty of driving at a speed in excess of 30mph in Marine Parade. Fined £220, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for six months.

Aged 59, of The Strand, Brighton Marina, guilty of failing to identify the driver suspected of a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £660, with a £66 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for six months.

Aged 40, of Overhill, Southwick, guilty of twice failing to identify the driver suspected of a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £660, with a £66 surcharge and £85 costs.

KYLE CHALLIS

Aged 22, of Glynde Road, Brighton, admitted breaching a community order by failing to turn up for unpaid work on two occasions. Three extra rehabilitation sessions added to his sentence, with £50 costs.

NIGEL HOLLAND

Aged 49, of New England Street, Brighton, admitted breaching a community order for unpaid work on three occasions. Given an eight-week suspended prison sentence with ten more rehabilitation sessions.

KENNETH DANCE

Aged 69, of Waldegrave Road, Brighton, guilty of driving without valid insurance. Fined £414, with a £41 surcharge and £150 costs. Banned from driving for six months.

HAYDEN HENNESSY

Aged 20, of St Martins Crescent, South Heighton, admitted assaulting a woman in Newhaven, and possessing cannabis. To complete 36 hours of rehabilitation and pay £250 in compensation.

JAMES KEATING

Aged 53, of Olivier Close, Brighton, admitted harassing a woman at her workplace and home. Ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and to pay an £85 surcharge and £85 costs. Put under a restraining order until 2020.

STUART MCCLUSKEY

Aged 52, of Beeding Avenue, Hove, admitted assaulting a PC. Given a conditional discharge, with a £21 surcharge.
