A JOURNALISM training college has closed down after 13 years.
Brighton Journalist Works, which was in Vantage Point in New England Street, Brighton, was the only specialist training college in the city where students could study on fast-track courses accredited by the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ).
Students looking for an NCTJ-accredited course will now have to travel to Eastbourne, where they can study for a BA in journalism through the University of Brighton, or to Highbury College in Portsmouth, where they can study for an NCTJ diploma in journalism.
