ANIMAL activists have arranged a meet and greet outside McDonald’s to protest against animal cruelty.
Members of the The Humane League, a grassroots group fighting to end the abuse of animals raised for food, have asked fellow activists to join them for a protest near the fast food giant in Western Road in Brighton. The group is then planning to have a pub lunch with all those interested in taking part.
A spokeswoman from The Humane League said: “We will meet outside Argos on Western Road (next to McDonald’s) for an hour of effective animal campaigning and protesting.
“Do let me know if you are coming for certain.”
She said since it began in 2016, The Humane League UK has convinced more than 100 companies to commit to reduce animal suffering.
The protest takes place tomorrow from 11am. Find out more at www.facebook.com/events/511146646356856
