A SERIAL shoplifter has been jailed after stealing washing tablets, frozen prawns, Yankee Candles, and handbags.
Kirsten Hocking took the items from the Wilko store, Boots, Iceland, and Marks and Spencer in Worthing.
The 27-year-old was described as a “prolific shoplifter” in court documents from Crawley Magistrates’ Court.
Hocking’s latest 13 thefts took place between May and July.
Previously she was given a suspended sentence after 12 counts of shoplifting and one count of failing to show up to court.
The previous offences were committed between November last year, and April.
Magistrate Geoffrey Allen jailed Hocking, formerly of Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, for six months after she changed her plea to guilty last month.
