RAIL services on the Brighton mainline were delayed this morning after a person was hit by a train.
All trains heading between Brighton and London Victoria have been disrupted after the incident this morning.
It has been reported on social media that emergency services have been called to tracks near Clapham Junction to deal with the incident.
National Rail said in a statement: "A person has been hit by a train between London Victoria and East Croydon.
"As a result of this, trains may be cancelled or delayed. This is expected until 11am."
One person said on Twitter: "Expect major delays between London Victoria and Clapham Junction. Been stuck on the tracks for 15 minutes."
