Man charged over rape on beach and in city centre
POLICE have charged a man on suspicion of two rapes.
Officers investigated the alleged sex attacks in Brighton.
The first was reported on a woman on Brighton beach in October 2017.
The second was reported on a woman in St George's Road, Brighton, in January last year.
Mohammed Joinal, 29, of Bushby Close, Sompting, was arrested and charged in connection with the two rape charges.
He appeared before magistrates on May 11 and will next appear at crown court on June 7.
