CHILDREN threw glass jars and paint from a balcony at parked cars.
The two boys filmed on their phones as they dropped white paint and coffee jars at cars below Stoke Abbott Court in Worthing on Sunday at about 1.30pm.
One man, whose daughter had her car damaged in the vandalism, said: “It was her first car and she’s only had it a couple of months – a 19-year-old working on a Sunday and now paying out more than she had earned in wages for the day.
“Even her grandparents gave her £20 to make her feel better.”
Her car, which she had nicknamed “Bubbles”, right, was parked in Winton Place when the pair “sprayed paint everywhere” and caused two dents to the roof.
The girl’s windscreen was also smashed, causing hundreds of pounds damage.
Sussex Police are appealing for information following the incident.
A spokesman said: “Police received two reports of cars being damaged in
Worthing on Sunday afternoon.
“One was damaged by paint and the other had its windscreen broken, apparently by a glass jar.
“It is believed that both may have had items dropped on them from above.
“Anyone with information is asked to report online or call 101 quoting serial 640 of 07/04.”
