BURGLARS ransacked a popular car services garage stealing tools and causing damage.
They stole two tool boxes from Tyre City’s premises at Southbourne Business Centre, Courtland Road, Eastbourne at about 12.30 this morning.
The main garage door was damaged during the burglary.
Police are currently investigation the incident and calling for witnesses.
A police spokesman said: “Police responded to a burglar alarm at Tyre City’s premises at Southbourne Business Centre, Courtland Road, Eastbourne at 21 minutes past midnight on Monday (8 April) found the main garage door and an internal panel had been damaged by intruders who stole two red boxes containing professional tools.
“The incident is now being investigated.
