A PEDESTRIAN has been hit by a car.
The crash happened at about 3pm on the B2109 Drove Road, near Newhaven.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "It is a car versus pedestrian road traffic collision.
"The incident is ongoing.
"Police and ambulance services are on the scene."
As a result, there is slow traffic from the A259 The Drove to Railway Approach, affecting traffic from Denton and Newhaven.
