This week we take a peek into the lives of a Brighton band member and his wife as they spend some quality time together, see what happens when Mexican sweet and savoury mix and the Palace Pier praise their hard working staff.

1. A risky selfie

The Argus:

We can’t condone the sort of behaviour shown here, because Sussex cliffs can be so dangerous but Instagrammer @little.travel decided to brave it for this shot. She won’t want to get any closer to the edge though

2. Palace Pier says thanks

The Argus:

The Palace Pier is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the country, with millions taking to the structure every year. In this post on the @brightonpalacepier Instagram the company praise their hard working ride staff, which is lovely to see

3. Spring stroll

The Argus:

With the weather getting better more people are coming out to enjoy the warmth that Brighton has to offer in the spring. The Instagram page simply named @brighton featured this lovely shot of a couple on a walk through Pavilion Gardens

4. A new power couple in Brighton?

The Argus:

This is a great shot from Brighton’s @georginalangfordbiss who is the founder of the popular Unpretty Zine. Her husband is As It Is guitarist Ben Langford-Biss. Both are successful in their respective fields and as such find themselves extremely busy and sometimes apart. But in this lovely photo they show just how happy they are together and how important it is to have time with the people you care about. This is for sure an up-and-coming power couple in Brighton. See both of their Instagrams for more

5. Stunning sunset

The Argus:

Instagram user @joelthorpe has featured on this page a lot and its photos like this that show why. A stunning shot of the sunset over Brighton

6. No Room for Racism

The Argus:

Brighton and Hove Albion helped launched the No Room For Racism campaign as they invited an Indonesian football team to play against them. See @komangteguh4 for more

7. Flowery phone box

The Argus:

Poster @ultrasophisticate wasn’t the only person who loved seeing flowers blooming from the phone box by Brighton Palace Pier. It proved a real hit

8. Tasty tacos

The Argus:

This is one for all the lovers of Latin food. These sweet tacos come courtesy of Wahaca in North Street. If you fancy some warm churros inside a corn tortilla topped with pickled veggies then @wahaca is the place to go.

9. Curious kitty

The Argus:

The bulk of the posts on the @samsvintagehome Instagram page are cat related but when this kitty pops up it’s normally in incredibly cute fashion. It is clearly a little explorer and with so many places to roam you can understand the curiosity. You keep doing you Missy, we look forward to more pictures soon

10. Groovy guitars

The Argus:

Guitar nut and music producer @birdjonny has seen many bands make their mak in the city and when looking at his Instagram page it’s clear to see how passionate he is about music. You can check out his page to see the bands he works with and his other hobbies
