But recently Britain’s tastes have changed as the chicken tikka masala, once heralded as Britain’s national dish, has been dethroned as the king of curries by the humble korma. Nevertheless, Indian cuisine is still a staple takeaway choice for families across the UK and each one has a favourite restaurant.
