UGLY scenes erupted at a County League football match when a melee broke out after the full-time whistle.
The brawl kicked off following the clash between Eastbourne Town and Uckfield Town.
Eastbourne won the game 4-2, having come from a goal behind, to extend their unbeaten run to 15.
But after the match, players and officials were involved in a fracas, which was caught on camera by a spectator.
Footage taken by fan @Craig_carr on Twitter, appears to show an official being pushed to the ground.
The situation quickly escalated as players and officials from both sides became embroiled in the ruckus.
A statement from the Sussex County FA said: “With regards to this incident, we have received the report from the match referee, and will be investigating in accordance with FA regulations.”
Speaking on the incident, Richard March, club Secretary at Eastbourne Town FC, said: “We are waiting to see what we are charged with by the Sussex County FA
“It will take as long as it takes for them to look into it and decide.
“It’s disappointing that these things happen but if they do they need to be dealt with.
