A coffee shop is raising funds and opening once a week for the homeless.
The Coffee Counter in Church Street, Brighton, closed to regular customers on Monday afternoon and instead invited the homeless to have a meal and a hot drink.
Closing the cafe for the afternoon and providing free food costs it about £300, but it has started a crowdfunding page online to raise enough money to cover this.
This week was the first day and the cafe has already raised enough money to do it again this coming Monday from 10am to 4pm.
