A CAR smashed through a garden fence after hitting a parked vehicle.
The Vauxhall Astra tipped on to its side after the crash in London Road, Burgess Hill, on Monday afternoon.
The driver, a man, had to be cut out the car by firefighters, and was then treated by paramedics.
A police spokesman said: “Emergency services were called to London Road, Burgess Hill, at 3.45pm on Monday where a silver Vauxhall Astra had apparently been in collision with a parked vehicle and rolled into the back garden of a house.”
A West Sussex Fire and Rescue spokesman added: “We were called to a road traffic collision with a person trapped.
“On arrival one car was on its side in a domestic garden and a male was trapped inside the vehicle.
