A PENSIONER has been seriously injured in a car crash.
The 78-year-old woman from Bognor collided with another vehicle on the A259 Chichester Road at Colworth, sending her Skoda into a ditch.
She suffered serious leg, pelvic and chest injuries in the crash, which happened yesterday.
She was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where she remains in a stable condition.
The other car involved was a black Nissan Leaf being driven by a 41-year-old man from Chichester.
He sustained serious chest injuries and was taken to St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester, for treatment.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened shortly after 10pm.
Officers are also asking motorists with dashcam footage to come forward.
