Lorry comes off A27 after driver suffers medical episode
A LORRY came off the road on the A27 after the driver suffered a medical episode.
Police confirmed there had been an accident at Hangleton, near the slip road to Sainsbury’s.
He said “At around 3.35pm a lorry left the road and crashed into a bush.
“The driver had been experiencing a medical emergency, and has been taken to hospital.”
One lane of the dual-carriageway was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
