THESE are the scenes on Brighton beach this morning after many resorted to sleeping on the beach.
Crowds were unable to get into Brighton station last evening as it became too dangerous.
An estimated 57,000 people were at Preston park so after Britney Spears finished there was a struggle for people to get home and the decision was made to delay people getting into the station for safety reasons.
Many are still on the beach.
One passer-by, who asked not to be named, said:"You don’t want to Pride as it’s a fabulous thing but it’s just the people. With the war on plastic it’s not good.
"There’s smashed glass. It’s not very pleasant for sunbathing.
""Some people are saying there was more than 300,000 people here yesterday. The beach is just unbelievable. The poor beach cleaners are really up against it. You’ve got sunbathers coming down to a hideous swamp of glass.
"The beach cleaners have done their best in the streets.
"Some people are saying there was more than 300,000 people here yesterday.
"I’ve not seen it as busy since beach boutique parties."
