A street food van has been left ruined after a fire ripped through its roof.
Firefighters were called at 3.30pm to the Bready’s Delights food van in Selborne Road in Hove.
In footage produced by the video production company Kitebox, the fire is seen on the roof of the van, and thick black smoke is billowing into the air.
Meanwhile onlookers in the street watch as a firefighter wearing protective gear and a mask enters the van and cuts through the roof to douse the flames.
Kitebox project manager Dr Felix Grant said: “It went up so quickly, the owner is a hardworking pillar of the community.”
The crews left the scene shortly after 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.
