A RINGMER animal shelter charity was helped by the TrustedHousesitters team during National Volunteers Week.
Twenty team members were despatched to help the charity maintain its 43-acre site.
Jess Stephens, Chief Marketing Officer at TrustedHousesitters, was among the volunteers rolling up their sleeves to dig, weed and tend the grounds.
She said: “It was hard work, but extremely rewarding and luckily we had good weather.
“We got to meet many of the rescue animals at the end of the week, watching ponies and dogs enjoying their newly groomed surroundings was definitely among the highlights.”
Rob Green, Digital Marketing Manager at TrustedHousesitters together with colleagues presented animal shelter charity Raystede with a cheque for £1,000 at the end of Volunteers’ Week.
The amount was raised by the house and pet sitting business after their announced that they are set to facilitate a million more nights of pet sitting across the globe in 2018.
