SNOW has hit parts of East Sussex this morning as the country was hit by a cold snap.
Residents are taking to social media with pictures of snowy scenes as the weather makes its way west, having come across the English Channel in the early hours.
The following photograph was taken in Stunts Green, Herstmonceux at Greenway Fruit Farm at 7.30am this morning.
But it's not all good news, as commuters on rail and buses this morning face delays and cancellations to services due to ice.
Stagecoach South East announced at 7.43am that there were minor delays on the service around Eastbourne.
#Eastbourne: we are suffering from minor delays this morning due to road conditions. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
