The crash scene
A PERSON had to be taken to hospital after a two-car crash outside a pub in Worthing.
The cars crashed outside the Castle Alehouse in Newland Road just before 7pm last night.
Sussex Police were called to the scene at around 6.47pm, and the road was closed for more than an hour.
A force spokesman said "one of the people in one of the vehicles" sustained a minor injury, but would not clarify if it was a man or a woman.
The person was taken to hospital for treatment.
No arrests were made.
