A MAN'S body has been found in the search for missing Burgess Hill man Lyle Ensor.
At midday on Thursday, January 18, police received a report that 29-year-old Lyle Ensor had gone missing from his home in Burgess Hill within the previous 24 hours.
An extensive search was made involving officers, Sussex Search and Rescue volunteers and a helicopter from the National Police Air Service.
At around 6.30pm on Thursday, a man's body was found in woodland close to Great Ote Hall, Burgess Hill.
The body has not yet been formally identified but is thought to be that of the missing man.
Mr Ensor's next of kin have been informed.
There are no suspicious circumstances and the matter has been referred to the coroner's officer.
