TWO more people have been arrested in connection with the death of a 70-year-old woman in a car crash.

The collision took place on the A24 near Horsham last Friday afternoon.

She died at the scene.

Her friend and passenger, a 70-year-old Horsham woman, was left with minor injuries.

Officers launched a manhunt for the driver of the stolen black Mercedes AMG estate who fled the scene of the collision.

An 18-year-old man from Feltham was then arrested on suspicion of burglary.

Shortly before 12 noon on Tuesday, Sussex officers visited an address in Twickenham where they arrested a 23-year-old man from Staines on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and residential burglary.

A 24-year-old woman from Feltham, Hounslow, was also arrested, on suspicion of assisting an offender.
