THE jury in the case of a hairdresser accused of deliberately trying to infect his male lovers with HIV has resumed its deliberations.
The panel of seven women and five men has been discussing the case of Daryll Rowe at Lewes Crown Court for around 10 hours so far after retiring last Wednesday.
They are tasked with deciding whether he is guilty of 10 charges - five counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and five counts of attempting to do so.
For the past five weeks the 27-year-old, originally from Edinburgh, has been on trial after denying deliberately trying to infect 10 men he met on gay dating app Grindr by having unprotected sex or tampering with condoms.
The court heard he moved to Brighton, where he met eight of his alleged victims, shortly after being diagnosed with the virus in Edinburgh in April 2015.
