A MAN is wanted in connection with a defibrillator stolen from a train station.
The thief went on a rampage at Lancing station, smashing windows of staff rooms before making off with the potentially life-saving device.
Defibrillators deliver shocks to the heart when somebody is suffering cardiac arrest to help restore a normal rhythm.
The incident happened in the early hours of November 4, and the man also broke a ticket machine and scrawled graffiti in the station.
The British Transport Police (BTP) is now looking for the thief.
They have issued a picture of a man who may have information which could help trace the criminal responsible.
A BTP statement said: “We’d like to speak to the man in this image as we believe he has information which could help the investigation.
“If you know who he is, contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or texting 61016 with reference 102 of November 4.”
