CARDENS Accountants, of Fourth Avenue, Hove, has a company commitment to give one per cent of its turnover to charity via donations and support every year.
Its sixth annual charity quiz night raised £4,022 for two charities.
Thirty-four teams of six battled it out at Sussex County Cricket Ground in Hove. So far the quiz nights have raised more than £20,000 for local charities.
Beneficiaries this year are Rise (refuge, information, support and education) and The Starr Trust.
Rise is a small charity supporting people affected by domestic abuse in Brighton and Hove and East Sussex. It offers emergency accommodation, legal and housing advice, counselling, special help for families and a dedicated LGBT service.
The Starr Trust is an independent, family run charity supporting young people aged ten to 18 to fulfil their potential through sports, arts and education, by giving them a helping hand to achieve their goals at a time when they really need it. It provides financial grants up to £5,000 for young people in need living in the BN post codecardensaccountants.
