The jury in the case of a hairdresser accused of deliberately trying to infect his male lovers with HIV has finished its deliberations for the day.
The panel of seven women and five men left the Lewes Crown Court room at 2.35pm on Wednesday to begin its discussions on the case and deliberated until 4.20pm.
They are tasked with deciding whether Daryll Rowe is guilty or not guilty of 10 charges - five counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and five counts of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
For the past six weeks the 27-year-old, originally of Edinburgh, has been standing trial after denying allegations he deliberately tried to infect 10 men he met on gay dating app Grindr with the virus by having unprotected sex or by tampering with condoms.
The court heard he moved to Brighton where he met eight of his alleged victims, shortly after being diagnosed with the virus in Edinburgh in April 2015.
The deliberations resume at 10am on Thursday.
