An investigation has been launched into the cause of a fire on a derelict boat.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to ewhaven Harbour shortly after 1.30am today.
Police, ambulance and the Newhaven Coastguard were also called to the scene and spent several hours there..
Despite initial reports someone was on the boat, it later emerged it was empty and there were no reports of injuries.
