Police at the scene
A WOMAN was found hanging from a shop doorway yesterday morning.
The 28-year-old was discovered outside e-cigarette store Vapawell in Baffins Lane, Chichester.
Police and paramedics were called at 9am but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The area was cordoned off for much of the day yesterday
A spokesman for Sussex Police ruled out foul play following initial investigations.
A force spokesman said: ”Police attended Baffins Lane, Chichester, following a report of an unresponsive female in that location.
“Unfortunately the female was found deceased.
“Inquiries are continuing into the circumstances but it is not being treated as suspicious.”
