HAILSHAM deputy mayor Amanda O’Rawe presented this year’s winners of the Age Concern Volunteer Service Awards with their certificates.
The presentations took place at the Charles Hunt Centre and six people received awards for their dedication.
Una Lavender was honoured for completing 20 years’ voluntary service.
Both Christine Fisher and Tayna Eade have completed 15 years.
Patricia Martin, Doreen Harvey and Carol Leggett have all completed five years.
Councillor O’Rawe said much of what Age Concern has achieved in the town has been the result of enthusiasm and commitment from volunteers.
