FIREFIGHTERS were called out nine times after a spate of bin fires across the city.
Nine bins were set alight across the city between 11.30 last night and 2.45 this morning.
Bins in Brighton were set on fire in Silwood Street, Vernon Terrace, Windlesham Gardens, Leopold Road, Albert Road and Montpelier Crescent.
Bins were also set on fire in Davigdor Road and Nizells Avenue in Hove.
Sussex Police are investigating.
