Emergency services were called to a third cliff fall at Seaford Head yesterday evening.
The incident happened shortly before 8.30pm, close to where two major cliff falls had taken place in the previous 24 hours.
Members of the Newhaven and Birling Gap Coastguard crews and the Newhaven Lifeboat were sent to search the area and look for signs of anyone trapped.
However nobody was found and the teams were stood down.
Large cracks are still visible in the cliff face this morning and experts have warned more falls are likely.
The will be little or no warning so please people are being warned to keep well away from the cliff edge and the cliff base.
