A BAR will be rewarding voters with free beer.
BrewDog in Grand Parade will join the company’s nationwide promotion to hand out a free can of the brand’s Punk IPA brew to electors.
The craft brewer says it wants to encourage “every voice to be heard”.
To claim the drink, take a picture of yourself outside your polling station and show the photo to bar staff at the BrewDog bar. The offer lasts until Friday.
James Watt, co-founder of BrewDog, said: “Whatever your views, whatever your status, every vote was created equal. An election is a key moment for those that feel marginalised or under-represented to stand up and be counted; so we want to encourage and reward those making their voices heard on June 8.”
BrewDog also intends to release its own poll of drinkers’ voting intentions this morning.
