Polls have opened across Sussex and the rest of the country as as people cast their votes in the snap General Election.
There are more than 2,700 candidates vying for 533 seats in England out of the UK's total of 650.
Registered voters are able to indicate their choice on who should be their Member of Parliament until 10pm tonight.
Counting will then take place overnight, with the winners in each constituency declared in the early hours of Friday.
The election period saw two acts of horrific brutality disrupt the democratic process, with the Manchester Arena bombing and the London Bridge attack changing the complexion of the campaign.
As a result, people will go to their polling stations amid heightened security.
The Argus will be at every single count in Sussex with our team of reporters bringing you all the results and reaction first.
